A network for the future
With more than 500 member companies and institutions from the Hamburg metropolitan region and beyond, the public-private partnership is the largest location network in the industry in Europe. Our network is made up of: Logistics service providers, industry & trade, research & development, start-ups, numerous public institutions and industry-related companies.

PROJECTS
The Hamburg Logistics Initiative is constantly active in various areas of logistics and continuously initiates new projects with the aim of further strengthening and expanding Hamburg's role as a leading logistics metropolis in Northern Europe. Projects in the areas of innovation, technology, sustainability, transport and human resources are among those being driven forward. Below you will find an overview of current and completed projects that have been and are being initiated and supported by LIHH.
EXPERT PANELS
The Logistics Initiative Hamburg is launching a series of expert groups that address, evaluate and further develop current topics from the transport and logistics industry and related areas and transfer them to the industry/practice.
In this way, we contribute to the formation of opinion and expertise in the respective fields. Pilot projects can also be launched in practice from the specialist circles. The aim is to create synergies in Hamburg together with and for the members of the initiative's network. A specialist group is headed by a group leader and one or two deputies. Participation requirements may vary depending on the expert group.
