Digital Hub Logistics & Commerce Hamburg
Ideas have to take flight - this is the only way for companies in the logistics and retail sector to excel in the digital revolution. One hotspot that provides the necessary impetus is located in Hamburg's Speicherstadt historical warehouse district. Initiated and realised in 2016 by the Logistics Initiative and the Hamburg Ministry of Economics and Innovation, the Digital Hub Logistics & Commerce connects market leaders, SMEs, start-ups and science in Northern Europe's leading logistics and trade location.
Hamburg Logistics-Professorium (HHLOP)
Together with KLU, the Hamburg Logistics Initiative has launched the Hamburg Logistics Professorship Programme (HHLOP). The aim is to promote and intensify networking between science and industry. To this end, the relevant professors from the Hamburg metropolitan region meet several times a year.
Ladies Logistics Lounge - A network for women in logistics
The Ladies Logistics Lounge was launched in 2010 to network female specialists and managers in the logistics industry. The interactive format offers a platform for dialogue, innovation and career development. Organised by a broad association of female partners, the event strengthens women in logistics and promotes their active participation in shaping the industry.
Cross-Cluster-Space Hamburg
Cross-Cluster Space Hamburg is a project coordinated by Helmut Schmidt University that has been promoting dialogue and collaboration between Hamburg clusters since 2016. The aim is to create synergies and enable collective learning through joint events and networking formats. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Ministry of Economics and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
